The Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (COL-CEMCA) was established in 1994 by the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) to address the needs of Commonwealth countries in the Asian region for effective utilization of educational media in Distance Education. Headquartered in New Delhi, India, COL-CEMCA operates under a host country agreement signed between COL and the Government of India in 1998.
